This unit provides behavioral and mental health outpatient services to children, 5-18 years old,
and their families in the Austin, East and West Garfield Park, and Humboldt Park communities. We follow the best practice models that recognize the
family as the primary support system for the child. The family must participate as a full partner in all stages of the decision-making,
treatment, planning process, including implementation, monitoring, and evaluation. Our primary goal is to strengthen family units. |

| The BH Children and Family Services site was relocated to and integrated with the Division Health Center.
This move not only created significant cost savings, but also provided synergy, by integrating primary care with child and adolescent
behavioral health. Once maternal child health and pediatric units are redeveloped, we’ll incorporate more adult services. |
