Available Services
In 1986, an adult behavioral health care unit was added to Circle Family Care in the Humboldt Park neighborhood of Chicago. The goal was to provide outpatient counseling to those individuals of the area's Hispanic population facing mental health issues.
Today, the Behavioral Health Services includes outpatient psychiatric services, therapy, counseling, case management, residential care and psychosocial rehabilitation. A Family Support Program offers a variety of services encompassing modern issues for youth, parents and families living in the inner city. The Family Support Program tailors its services to help Hispanic immigrants prevent family dysfunction and violence, and reduce cultural isolation and barriers.
Program services are offered in both Spanish and English. The Outpatient Program offers counseling, psychiatric care, outreach & case management, and mental health education within individual, group and family settings.
The Psychosocial Rehabilitation Program (PSR) provides job skills training, behavior modification and trains clients in life skills needed for independent living.
Our Residential Program Facility compliments the services in the PSR program. Occupying a rehabbed 3-flat with a garden apartment, the residential treatment center services those clients who suffer from mental illness and need 24-hour supervision and support. The program focuses on keeping clients stabilized and out of the hospital, while providing a secure environment.
